This month’s photo topic was “Shadows” and the photo was taken by the local photographer Bruce Krebs.
“My wife and I decided to take a walk along Bennetts Beach in July. As it was late in the day, I captured long shadows in foreground, but my focus was on the approaching storm out to sea. By a stroke of luck, I was able to record a lightning strike from the base of the cloud although it was some distance away.
I’m not in the habit of taking my camera on beach walks and I didn’t that day, but used my mobile phone to take this shot with an aperture of f/2.4, shutter speed of 1/3,876sec and ISO of 50. We can always save memories.” Bruce said
