Being a member of our Art Group means that we begin each week in a positive, happy and creative space; a space where we can leave our everyday worries and challenges behind; where we can let our souls expand and can safely “play and explore”.
In our attempt to cater for beginners as well as for more experienced artists, we cover a whole range of artistic expressions throughout the year. We work with all mediums (except oils) and try our hand at a variety of different styles. Acrylics, watercolour, pen and wash, pencil drawing, collage as well as pastels and mixed media
WE TRY IT ALL!.
Our art conveners, like all other U3A conveners, are volunteers (who are not necessarily professionals). However, we endeavour to invite professional artists throughout the year and thoroughly enjoy being exposed to their different practices and styles.
